Dream Big Dreams
Martin Luther King Jr. is a well known role model for this equality during segregation. In his well known speech, "I Have a Dream" he dives into a vision on what he sees his future obtaining for him, his family, and friends. With this dream in mind, he stepped forward and made his dream a reality. Years have passed and the culture has been changed. My husband's idol, Kobe Bryant, talked about having a "Mamba Mentality"…. meaning when you desire 100% you give 110%. Dreams don't become a reality by sitting around and being lazy. Dreams are fulfilled when one chooses to give it everything he or she has left. It's only then your dreams become a reality. The problem is the "Nay Sayers" in this life. People will talk you down and say you can't do it. The world can and will affect your state of mind. My thoughts and feelings on this topic are very simple: Block out the haters! Your dreams cannot be made or defined by others. Your desires/dreams have to be made and shaped by you and only you. There is not a single person who can put out the fire of success. People will try, but if you will to fulfill your dreams is more, then you will rise into a bomb fire. Make your dreams big. Make them a reality. Fight day in and day out on what you want in your life. Desire and choose to push yourself over the limits. Get to the breaking point of your dreams so that one day you can look back and say to yourself, "I did it!" This goes for everything in life from physical, spiritual, and mental dreams. The most important source of help is our Heavenly Father. Trust in him. The stronger your relationship with him is, the more desire you'll have to be happy. The more happy you are, the more motivated you'll become. Don't let the world tell you "No!" Laugh at the world and tell it, "Yes!"
So with that said, I will work day after day, month after month and year after year to make my dreams a reality. I made a promise to myself that I will not quit and keep fighting for my dreams. So don't stop! :)
